How underrated is this as a snack? and why have I only recently had my first one in umpteen years!

So what’s your go to bag of crisps for on the old sandwich ?

Mines roysters but having none in and not having effort go shops settler for a beg cheese and onion

Cheese and onion discos on a sandwich is enough to make Gordon Ramsey smile.

Spread some Philadelphia cheese over the butter for the authentic council house lunch feel 😉

I don’t know if it’s a Scottish thing but the shop by the school sold crisp rolls at morning break.

It was always crisps called bikers that I’ve not seen in years, but fuck me if you didn’t get in that queue sharp the heartbreak ❤️‍🩹 was real.

I'm now thinking back to the pieces in sugar we used to make! Put in way too much and you were having to hold the slices of bread together to stop it all falling out 😁

Margarine instead of butter as well 😂😂.

If fact does margarine still exist since the invention of spreadable butter ?

Yip. Margarine. When you tried to use the butter it character assassinated the bread 😂 More holes in it than on here! Margarine definitely made the job much easier lol xxx

God, this brings back memories.

We had a van or a tuck shop that used to do this, but those queues were something else 😂

We had "The Hawf V Van" come to our school gates. Half a Vienna roll, pull out the dough and chuck it at yir pals then stuff it with yiur favourite flavour of crisps, scrunch it so it fits in yir gob and devour it....

A childhood classic for sure. My go to was always salt and vinegar crisps with cheese (and if you were feeling fancy maybe ham too).

I have never seen the appeal, its not a combination that rocks my boat. The other half enjoys them, but she has been known to enjoy some strange things in her mouth.

My fave crisp sandwich was actually more than just crisps and bread.

Mighty White.

Plenty of mayonaise on both slices of the bread.

Wafer thin American Style Chicken.

Lasty - Walkers Selects Chicken and Thyme crisps.
