here and there

last couple of people iv been chatting with, were getting on well, i thought, the shower my face and blocked 😂 not even a no thank you.

harsh? or normal? as i know women can get a lot of abuse when they say no thank you.

i understand not everyone fancies everyone, but we were talking for a bit before.

Its maybe just they felt bad they werent feeling it and didnt know how to say. I always feel a bit awkward if i dont feel an attraction and dont like to upset people. I cant also see how being blocked would be just as upsetting.

I feel awkward telling people they aren't for me when we have gotten along nicely part of the reason is the backlash of abuse which many of us get.

It's probably the same for a lot of people on here, don't take offence and move on

Should add that some people may not want to share their socials

Shame that happens that’s simple attraction that’s priority here and need to work both ways! Unfortunately true is more guys are desperate or can handle true giving all of us bad name then woman after bad experience taking shot cuts blocking…. Even without attractions if you have nice chat that still can be…

I'm much the same as the others, I really don't like telling someone I'm not attracted to them, and then I end up with far too many endless conversations that will lead to nothing so, as harsh as it is, I kinda see why they've done it xx

Cracks me up the people who have very little by way of pics or even profile and they ask for a face pic straight away.

I’m happy to do so but when @not my type comes back it does deflate.

At the end of the day it’s far easier clicking in person at an event or out and about; the best relationships no matter how fleeting aren’t based on a fleeting picture

Obviously we would all prefer to meet at social events etc but this isn't always possible and, sadly, we have to rely on sites like this so I can absolutely understand why someone asks for face pics at first point of contact. Particularly when someone doesn't have much information on their profile, doesn't have many or any verifications and little or no photos xx

It’s definitely a kick in the nuts mate.

I understand why people don’t want to put their face online but I would deffo send a face pic early, like second message early mate.

At least you won’t have invested so much effort if it’s not what they are looking for.

I was recently on the other side of this and I felt bad for a couple of days for telling her that she wasn’t my type and I will avoid letting the conversation go to far without a pic again.

I think an early exchange of pics is the way forward instead of getting to know someone just for them to block you.

A simple message to say there was no attraction would have been the pleasant thing to do but in this day and age it’s easier to ignore and give zero thoughts about the other persons feelings.
