A dying art

Is the art of conversation dead ,

Kinda baffles me that the highest majority of my mails start off with "fancy a fuck" ," I'd love to come over your tits".. or 2 mails down wanting to get into sex talk .

Whats wrong with having a normal conversation and actually stringing a sentence together that doesn't involve sex talk with no basis as a conversation starter .

I suppose what I'm saying is usually us women need something more than a "hiya ,fancy a fuck" .

We live in an era of instant gratification and hiding behind keyboards now sadly.

The difference between key board wannabes and the real world.

Even when the online conversations go well I still prefer face to face conversations and the opportunity to read people body language and reactions.

These are often the same guys who are absolutely baffled as to why they don't get replies!!

Nah, I would consider myself as old school... Enjoy a good, intelligent conversation and a intelligent laugh and giggle. A sense of humour is a absolute must . Nothing quite like it. I think it actually arouses the senses more. I agree with the notion that the art is probably dying, however there are a few of us that keep the burning torch of chivalry alive.(me included). Ladies first, hold the door. Stand when a lady walks to or leaves the table. Slide her chair out for her and in. Place her coat over her shoulders, see her safely. (even if it puts you out). It still does exist 😏

Just out of curiosity... fancy a fuck?🤣🤣🤣

Or those mails that ask closed questions only, from profiles that give you very little to start a conversation with.

It’s so much easier when questions that lead onto other questions, return questions and opening up a conversation.

It’s imagination that’s missing from most, we think.

Or conversely... You read a profile thoroughly and put a lot of effort into your message, keeping it respectful - only for it to be deleted unread

"Or conversely... You read a profile thoroughly and put a lot of effort into your message, keeping it respectful - only for it to be deleted unread"

Whilst I really do appreciate that you’ve put all that effort in the answer to your comment is twofold.

1. As the site states, a non response should be taken as a polite no thanks

2. The reason many do not get a polite no thanks is - it often leads to pushyness such as “can you just chat” “what’s wrong with me/mymessage” etc. therefore it’s easier to just not reply and or delete.

I remember a guy asking me one time could I not just “fit him in”. There’s an obvious pun there but the question wasn’t meant to be funny. He genuinely couldn’t see how offensive he was.

Just to reiterate, not saying that’s you at all. Just trying to give some kind of insight to maybe why many females take the non-response/delete tactic.

I try to explain this to men all the time! Entering into ANY dialogue then opens up the option for chat and I've ended up with far more, "How are you today?" messages in my inbox than I really have the time for, because I've opened up the dialogue. If I can see from their location and profile that they're not what I'm looking for, sometimes it's easier to just delete the message than try to enter into a dialogue xx

It’s the same for us couples

Usually first mail is like

I’m off work you up for it

Or

Fancy a shag

Or Great tits would love to cum over them

Do single guys actually think that approach works 🤷‍♂️

Sad truth is that soo many of the interesting males that are engaging are some of the worst and just disappear after that 1st meet.

We were once primarily an MFM couple but just couldn’t handle the ONS’s and Constant Lying all the time. We have a few friends now we see often and feel soo lucky to have them but this idea what we could be the rude ones when we have met so many and treat like shit is narrow minded. You cant blame couples for the fact we get 100s messages a day and know 90% of them are rude, lying, married, fk boys or just simply not compatible and to find that 10% is often impossible or simply not worth.

Our advice to males is always to go to a club.

If you want to be treated like a person be a person not a 1:1000 profile saying the same shit.

Meet real people and put some actual effort in!!

Meeting the right couples isn’t easy either, we find it almost impossible online, so we too live by that advice!!!
