Well yes and no, its scotland, where people resent and get envious of success.

I've enjoyed a peak of fun and success and watched it systematically get kicked and battered by various influences.

I like the American ideal, good at what you do and others appreciate it, not here, no, folks decide you've had yer lot pal and go on a mission to spoil it.

I think you are right about there being a lot of knockers of success. For a country that is so fiercely protective of its heritage I have seen it turn on itself so many times.

However, as in life everywhere, there are also some wonderful people who pick you up, dust you off, and give you the encouragement to put a smile on your face and get back out there.

Fab is the same.

Yes there are knockers, but there are also the people who will pick you up, dust you off and say get back on the horse ( so to speak lol ).

I don't think it has anything to do with being in scotland. It's the nature of the site where most just want sex, fuck and go. And who will do anything to get it.

The longer I'm on this, the less I enjoy it: idiots, timewasters, people who take 20 years of their age, hygiene or literacy problems and just dealing with nasty people.

But sometimes someone comes along to make it worthwhile. So if you could concentrate on that, and not rise to the bait of the riff-raff, and not be too bruised then it should be ok.

Don't wear rose tinted glasses and expect to be appreciated or welcomed or supported. If you expect people to go on a mission to try and ruin your fun, just be aware of them so their sledgehammers have no effects.

Next time then, dont say "Scotand" insinuating that everyone here is envious of others...

We all know there are people here laden with jealousy over the success of others...when it comes to who/how many meets others get....

Just accept it and make the most of what there is here for you....
