Would you rather

A - drive a crappy car that only does 60 and you can't get caught speeding in?

- OR -

B - risk 3 more points ending you with an automatic ban?

Its the driving standards thats the problem not the car. 60 in a 20,30,40,50 zone still gonna get you done unless you don't speed and adhere to the highway code.

Gotta be B... But it depends how you drive.. I see too many folks doing 40 on open '60' roads, who then keep the same speed, or even go faster! when they get to a built up 30 zone.

As the sole driver in the clan, a wife with health issues, and a disabled step daughter with two kids, and a brother in law with learning disabilities living with us, I have to behave.

You can get stopped and gain 3 points on yer licence for various things, on the phone, careless, without due care,, even aparently, not in proper control of vehicle, veering offline if yer lucky enough to be in an empty van gettin hit by 60mph winds, matters not to the police behind you, Boom!! Stopped and £60 please and hand in yer licence to get 3 points please sir,,,how do i know that?
