I am writing this as a reminder that there are people who find larger women and men attractive, as myself I struggle to find larger guys because all the bullying and bad behaviour of some people on here. I also write this because I’m sad to often hear people feel abused, insulted or feel ugly because the world lost control and got an obsession about the looks. Dysmorphia is a real. I am also writing this because I would like larger people to feel attractive and stand against those who call them names and shame their body, stand against bullies and body shamers. All body shapes are beautiful and there’s always someone who’s interested. If you had experiences with being body shamed please talk out loud, be proud of yourself.

As a plus size women i hate all these size posts on our forum! Of course we know there's people that like a curvy or bigger lady, the site is well represented by us and from what I see BBW do not too bad here. I have worked so hard this year to lose a little (almost 3 stone) and now feel a whole host of different hangups about my body and constant referrals to body type and the need to tell us "don't worry there's some out there that like it" insulting like we should some how appreciate it.

We don't see people declaring their love of skinny so why do we have the opposite very regularly on here. Maybe its just a "me" issue. Please leave size out of it and just get to know the people that spark your interests without comment on their body size.

Agreed! Anyone that attends clubs will know that there is all shapes and sizes that go along and most of the time it’s personality and connection that makes the fun stuff happen! Yes we all have a type we’re more attracted to but sometimes we end up playing with the opposite of that!

Putting up a post on here stating or asking who likes bigger women is not needed as there is already another post recently about this exact topic! Also all women on fab get abused at some point, nothing to do with body type and more to do with men that like to send abusive messages to women 🤷🏼‍♀️

Absolutely agree! You almost feel as if you should be somehow grateful that there are people out there who are attracted to us, "despite" our very obvious flaws!! I've met loads of amazing thin girls, and loads of nasty bigger girls... and I don't like the thin girls because they're thin or dislike the bigger girls because they're bigger, it's because the thin girl was nice and the bigger girl was a bitch lmao!!

And don't even get me started on the whole BBW fetish! Don't fetishise me, just accept me. Hate guys who message like, "Aw man, I love a big ass..." aye, cheers mate! Nae chance I'm meeting you now, for you to start fucking me and tell me how much you love my fat ass lmao!!xx

It’s definitely a you problem, this wasn’t about you it was about those who are being bullied based on their body size. I’m a gay chubby chaser and I have heard multiple men feel insecure about their body or age, slim or large. Congratulations to you all for the effort but it sounds more like you want the attention of this post turned around your hate of a certain demographic. You certainly don’t like the actual or past look of your body and you’re doing something about it, but please don’t change the meaning of this post towards your benefits. Why the need to turn everything towards you when the post was meant to bring larger men and women to realisation that they are not as fat as they think they are and that they are attractive. Not everyone goes to clubs and parties and dick suckerias. The dysmorphia doesn’t cone only for large but for everyone in any shape or form.

Thank you. I am perfectly happy for everyone to feel comfortable in their skin indifferently of their shape or size. I an just trying to bring awarness to the situation because not once I heard “i’m shy, I’m too fat” or “why would you look at me, I’m old and fat”. I want to help people love themselves and express themselves naturally and not hide under “detail photos” that hide their true grandeur and beauty.

You understood this post incredibly wrong, Nobody is doing petty work here. The fact you seen it this way is worrying me more as you need to passive agresively turn an act of kindness into a self issue. If you don’t like it, change it, however turning a good meant post into a you issue is the problem you should check with a therapist and why do you take everything as an offence. Let people be who they want to be, and it’s none of your or their business to tell them what is good or nasty. Some people out there feel insecure because comments as these, and the agresive opinionated attitude some of you have.

As a defence to my post, it had nothing to do with you bigger birds. It was meant mostly towards gay men community on here who are constantly abused by the Bruvs and gym bunnies, the fact you thought is about you is a subject for another post, please don’t filth my thread with your own issue, make your own thread. #byefelicia

Maybe I haven't understood it wrong, maybe you've come across wrong. Especially given that I'm not the only one who has thought so.

And, at which point did I say I don't like my body? What I don't like is how men find it appropriate to comment on it, in a way they wouldn't for other body shapes and sizes.

You've asked people to speak out about their experiences with being shamed for it, and when we have, you're telling us we're wrong? Don't ask for our personal experiences, in an attempt to bond us, if you're then going to comment and tell us that our personal experience is wrong! You have no idea of the shit women have to endure on here, and as soon as you say you're not interested, all the fat insults come out. If you're not willing to listen to people's personal experiences, I would suggest you don't ask for them in your post.

the land of unicorns and fairytales

My personal experience is that most men and women don’t care about the body aesthetics

The face is more what does the deal ! Most people make up their decisions about a person but the facial look over and above the body

I personally choose not to share pics face body or otherwise because I prefer people with personality, that’s what I find attractive

I’m four stone lighter than this time last year and judging by my dating site profiles the weightloss has made zero difference in the amount of guys messaging me, if anything I have had less messages saying I like a curvy girl or I like a nice ass

I’m still curvy still have bigger than average tits and my ass was never existent even at my heaviest !!

As for my facial looks I’ve always been complimented and told I’m attractive but hey guess what none of it matters I still get shit messages, ghosted, my time wasted and generally struggle to meet genuine decent guys on here anymore !

The only difference these days is folk seem a lot more open to voice their opinions on everything whereas years ago folk seemed to know when it was best just to say nothing if you don’t have anything nice to say !!

Before my post was changed into what seems to be a fishing for compliments situation, I was willing to bring attention to those who feel less attractive due to their size, and those who have been bullied. Unfortunately a bunch of birds change the subject about their having absolutely nothing to do with the intention of my post.

Personality and face are indeed important factors, however a lot of people consider the body size an important factor, as well body dysmorphic disorder is increasing a lot lately due to the social media gym “models” and trends, forcing people into making unhealthy drastic changes in their dietary and lifestyle. My post isn’t about making a fat chick feel petty, but about bullying and self esteem and awareness.
