If it was me once the face pic arrives and if you weren’t comfortable about knowing the person, you could just perhaps say a polite “thanks but unfortunately you’re not my type, happy fabbing anyway” ….. or if you were ok with the identities being revealed then just carry on chatting and arranging some fun.

Very sensible outlooks and opinions, so my personal experience was a new start at work, we'd been chatting on here prior to her starting work and was all set to meet, when she turned up for her first shift with me on her face went bright red and the whole rabbit in headlights look bless her.

We just smiled and nodded at each other, people spotted it and we're like 'oh didn't know you knew each other' lol

But yeah after that she didn't open message I'd sent, cos obviously I was making light of it and was going to ask if she still wanted to pursue it,but yeah she juts totally ghosted,best laugh is we actually really get on at work and have a good laugh

in that situation I would continue to get on with her in work but never mention fab or anything connected to fab in work and wait to see if she eventually messages you back if she’s not blocked you then she’s probably needing more time to really think about it

we have encountered this several times, not exactly work colleagues but staff from companies we deal with 4 times actually, 3 times it was us that recognise them and each time we were upfront about it after all we are all adults here for the same thing. our opinion was its fair for both sides to know the facts, the one time we sent pics first the other couple recognised us they were upfront too which was good
