I'm right below a lot of really hot people's age limit and I wish you could message if verified and only slightly under limit. Maybe goes to a separate inbox for accounts that almost fit their filters.

those age limit criteria are there for a reason .

If you get to the situation of I'm nearly that age limit then where do you cut off ..1 Yr 2 yr 5yr difference...

Unfortunately we just have to abide by the rules .

Interestingly enough, I've had an occasion where I've been messaged by a younger couple in their early thirties, going well then they'll hit me with oh sorry you're outwith our age range of who we like to play with, despite great banter having a laugh and them pursuing me, I feel some people have a mental blockage on numbers mate, if the banters there and the attraction too then I don't feel it matters....anyone else?

I think a lot of people have an age “buffer zone” but unfortunately age criteria does have cut offs.

I’m late fifties but might as well be eighty to some.

Don’t want to be harsh but some 40 somethings on here had tougher paper rounds than I did

Because there's such a big age difference between Mrs and me, we have had couples message where I am slightly over their age preferences, I have pointed it out and generally they have been OK about it (maybe because they messaged us right enough(, but if one of us doesn't fit their age criteria, we generally don't message them

I must admit I've had meetings with people who I couldn't message due to their age settings, but they have messaged me first. I was 30 years outside the age settings one of them, had a fantastic time, met for several months on and off.

Or folk could just accept with good grace that people have preferences for a reason instead of trying to find ways to circumvent them because they find them inconvenient and believe they should be a special exception
