Looking for any tips or recommendations.

I've shaved for years, electric and wet razor, but recently had an issue with an ingrown hair. Don't know if this is shaving related.

I tried veet in the past but found it left me somewhat tender..

Any other creams or more permanent hair removal methods anyone can recommend.
