Wee rant-ish I am a shift worker and I know there's more of you out there, probably burst or sleep deprived lol

I'm getting frustrated at how immature and stroppy some people are getting at my not being available every weekend because of shifts and having real world to deal with before any fun can be arranged.

Anyone else come across this?

Oh yes I’m not a shift worker but self employed construction trade that has to work weekends and very unsociable hours and yes most times over 100 hrs a week

These people would be blocked if they moaned at me for not being available

Thank you to your replies

I understand some people might want a regular meet up however I'm not here for people to have something to do with their Saturday night.

Is it me or are there less people on here with careers and kids and more people living their lives through this thing, whatever happened to a naughty daytime meet while kids are at school lol

Daytime is definitely one of the advantages of shift work, unfortunately the disadvantages tend to outweigh them.

Fellow shift worker here and my time off falls during the week for meets. Can be frustrating but it is what it is.

I’m on call a lot and can’t stray too far, if anyone wanted to meet they’d probably be frustrated

Mrs is a shift worker and use to often arrange meets during school hours because it doesn't really interfere with real life. However she was just inundated by attached men sneaking some time out of their day, the meets tend to be low quality and rushed and left her her confidence on the floor. We only really meet at clubs now, it's just easier.
