Anyone going?

Also, where is good to go afterwards in Glasgow central on a Monday night? Don't really fancy going back to my hotel room

Not going but if I was to guess Cathouse will probably have a wrestling theme night after Raw. They usually do whenever WWE come to Glasgow

Would love to go, but it’s silly prices. I’ll stay at home with my Winged Eagle replica and run around in my pants like Ultimate Warrior.

Will you go full face paint too?

Might get some cheap tickets on the week of it, they will reduce them like they did for clash at the castle. They don't want a half empty arena.

It's a shame Netflix haven't allowed pubs to continue to show the big events like Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, used to be great nights in Glasgow for those!

The clash at the castle tickets cost more than mania tickets. Silly money and I know my kids would want to go too! It would bankrupt me.

Needless to say, the prices have went up, not down. I can't justify well over £1000 for me, hubby and the two kids. It would be interesting to know which percentage is WWE and what is Ticketmaster, because I suspect it's Ticketmaster doing their usual x

I got mine on klarna over 12 months. They don't miss a trick

Nah WWE is wild ticket prices worldwide unfortunately, they must have some amount of people that travel and work for them so I get why it is expensive to tour for them but still it is a joke for a family of 4. We paid 450 each for our tickets and we hope it is going to be a great experience. I used to go to their shows about 15-20 years ago and never paid over 100 for a ticket and got to see most of the biggest stars. The Rock is the only one I've never seen live from that era.

Klarna is definitely the way to go with it. You'll pay a little bit of interest over the course of the 12 months but it is more manageable at least. I'd say keep an eye on twickets and Ticketmaster as there might be some cheap tickets going with people just trying to get something back if they can't make it.

I used to go to the shows with my last partner, but the management of the growds and Security Staff more interested in the show than keeping people safe, just put me off.

However I did have a friend that worked for Ticketmaster, and we could always get entrance-way or ringside seats for a brill price, also with his employee discount.

But hearing the prices people are paying nowadays makes it generally unrealistic for people to easily go. I know of one person that bought tickets for himself and his family, but the tickets were nearly £600 each and they're "in the nosebleeds" to quote him.

My ticket was £300 with an added £50 interest on klarna 12 months. I hardly ever do anything for myself though, and I've been a massive fan for over 30 years so I don't mind forking out for myself

I have floor seating, but on a stand facing the hard camera. Hope it's just as good as Clash last year and going to take myself out in Glasgow afterwards

Whole thing was chaos

We waited about an hour to get scanned inside and getting out was even worse!

When the WWE use to run the breahead arena back in the 00's it wasn't too bad. price, travel etc

But now it's a total new way to say bye bye to your money. Glad I just stayed at home and watched it as the show itself looked underwhelming. Think the Manchester and London shows were the ones they were pushing towards

Loving this post. Those that went to the Scottish show did you enjoy it? Crowd was alive and very vocal.

So who’s looking forward to wrestlemania? Any predictions? I reckon that triple threat match is going to become a number 1 contenders match lol

Went to smackdown for clash last time they were in town.. oh wow what an atmosphere. Look forward to going back at some point if they come back.

It wasn't the best episode of RAW - the main event ending in a DQ was a pretty poor choice, would definitely recommend going to a non televised show instead. There's lots of talking. Across the 3.5 hour show there was 1 hour of actual wrestling 😂

Ah okay, that's pretty bad! Especially for those prices, you'd definitely want to see more wrestling!xx
