"and does nobody carry a camera to carry these stunning moments even a phone camera??? " a camera cant capture the smell of the sea spray and the sound of the waves on dornoch beach at day break as i walked to work! or the sound of the bodhran and the taste of the fresh seared scallops i ate in a nairn restaurant... the beauty is in more than the sights we see!

"............. P.S: Am not sure why the Scottish Tourist Board (/A.N Other) insists on changing age-old Scottish or Gaelic place names to 'inglified' versions (no offence to any English person reading). In the past few years I've seen Strathfarrar changed to 'Glenstrathfarrar (?! A nonsensical and unnecessary twee alteration) and Strathspey's now 'The Spey Valley'...?! WHIT'S going on?! And what next? Is Glencoe going to be hanged to Dingly Dell...?" Whilst at the same time local authorities and others are adding Gaelic place names to road signs - often making the damn things twice the size they were before and blocking the view of junctions, bends and so on.

" A bit further north the 'Queen's View' down Loch Tummel to Kinloch Rannoch and beyond is spectacular." I am strangely drawn to that place 'queen's view'............
