Just finished The Bee Sting

Can’t say I enjoyed it. The most frustrating and ambiguous of endings.

Nothing.

Used to love reading, don’t think I have read anything in 5 years.

The last book I tried to read was Richard Osman, Thursday Murder Club.

I enjoyed that book. I tend to do audible books these days as just easier and that was a good listen. I'm listening to Time and Time Again by Ben Elton just now, enjoying it

Hard-Boiled Wonderland is still one of my favourite books for sheer inventiveness and prose but the way he writes about women is absolutely fucking excruciating.

I'm currently reading Moira Fowley's Eyes Guts Throat Bones, a lesbian gothic horror short story collection. It's amazing, so many of them have an unexplained dream logic that actually feels like a nightmare.
