Really bugged by this

A couple on here, who we are/were interested in, has winked at us month on month. We have returned the wink and, every time, it has been deleted.

Ditto for messages.

Beginning to wonder two things:

1) what’s the point in winks?

2) why is there the option to delete them i they have a point?

Hubby might wink but wife isn't interested so deleted your message or viza versa

I've had couples wink me but don't reply to message so if there's a doubt, just bin.

Yeah the winks are bizarre… I’ve only ever used it to message someone whom I am friendly with already to let them know I’m online but I’d never wink a new connection…. What a lazy way of trying to get to know someone

Its up to you if they interest you but personally, I'm not here for hassle or games, so without doubt as there is a doubt, I'd bin
