Prestonpans

Best curry - Mother India’s Cafe

Italian - Divino, or Vittorias

Thai - Dusit

Wine - The Bon Vivant

And if you want the wow factor, get a cocktail in The Dome.

If you like traditional pubs with the accent on the beer, try Mathers or The Diggers

Glasgow

Dishoom is great for a curry, Cafe Royal for seafood and drinks, and Wahaca for Mexican. The Guildford Arms is an old Victorian pub just off Princes Street, The Bow Bar is an old traditional pub near the Grassmarket, and The Holyrood 9a is a good pub for beer and cocktails on the way down to the Scottish Parliament. Have a great trip!

Pre covid..

But voodoo rooms was worth a visit..

Also on Leith walk there was a sequence of bars I referred to as the Swedish bars..part of a private chain..think the Co ktail bar mentioned above near Holywood was part of group..
