Many claim not to be hardened swingers - in fact, noone actually claims to be a hardened swinger on this site, as far as I have seen.

Of course, this gives rise to the question - when do you become 'hardened' (Excuse the pun!) What are the criteria? Would anyone like to put their hand up and confess to being one!

"Hardened" sounds very similar to "Hard, tough", other circumstances make us tough, in terms of dealing with the nonsense, "timewasting" we get dealt from "timewasters".

People who are decent enough to explain/say why they are unable to attend whatever fixture you have created, from 1 to 1, to super dooper 15cpl partys,and have said almost on a daily basis "ohh we cant wait to join the fun" are greeted with the "thanks for letting us know".

But folks who absolutely leave you high and dry and dont show, dont call to say cant make it,spoil plans,ideas,make you as host look daft,with the knock on effect the couple or lady who was so looking forward to the fun,starts to think its something wrong with her/them and from looking at a sexy fun time within a short space of time your leaft with no fixture and a lady full of self doubt.

Then yes, maybe im a hardened swinger, because if you subject me to all those headaches instead of simply "making it happen" you then dont show, do expect to be told just how much a loss/unreliable git you have been.

If that makes me a hardened swinger, so be it/

Why put the word "hardened", in the first place?

Swinging has many elements and everyone does there own thing.

Why can't we leave it at that?

Hardened = experienced, has seen most of the games played, tricks played, recognises timewasters "most" of the time.

Hardened is being very familiar with all things swinging, good and bad, im pretty sure its that type of thing.

Basically someone who would just shag anything with a pulse? I see them in the pub every Saturday night

Having thought about it, if a 'hardened criminal' is one who commits crime without any fear, guilt or thought for what they are doing, is a hardened swinger something similar? I'm not sure how to explain this - someone help!

In this case, T, it seems hardened might be quite a positive thing, but with so many claiming not to be hardened it seems to be more pejorative than the above explanation might cover?
