Somewhere in Scotland

Spare a thought

As we all sit down to our Christmas day & our dinner, we will watch the kids smile and be happy as they open all the gifts that Santa has brought them.

But can I just ask you all to spare a thought for all our men & women serving in the armed forces at this time off the year, where it is in Northern Ireland or Afghanistan,

As ex-servicemen my self I understand what its like to be away from home at this time of the year missing family, friend, and a good old drink.

I am lucky this year to have my boy & girl home this year, I hope when you have your Christmas dinner & lift a glass then pleas just xxxxxxxxxx

As an ex serving soldier (BW) i can only say what a great job our boys do anywhere in the world and at this time of the year our thought are ewith them all, it's hard to be parted from loved one's and family, so when it comes to"The Bells" raise your glasses and say a toast a very special toast for ALL our serving soldiers wherever they are.
