going to a vanilla wedding in the east in a few weeks...anyone suggest a decent reasonably priced place to stay for two nights (close to Royal Terrace Hotel if possible)?

depends on what you class as reasonable. This time of year your looking around £200 / 500 for the weekend in that area

I've had to have a few stays in Edinburgh, but I'm not sure where the Royal Terrace hotel is, so I'd suggest lastminute.com, usually some decent deals. If it's only a bed you want and not bothered about the usual hotel things then there are other cheaper options like easy hotel and tune hotel (stayed in Tune hotel, was actually quite nice but had no window)
