How is the BBC supposed to know what their employees have on their phones?

Once suspicions surfaced, under both criminal and employment laws, due process must be followed. The BBC can't be attacked on those points, otherwise their tabloid enemies would currently be having a field day on those points.

Where I do have massive criticism is their past in looking the other way over sexual abuse scandals and their decision to pay Edwards over £400k per annum, a ludicrous salary.
