I,m wondering what,s the reason that when you go and look at someones profile and it hidden,, this is not a complaint, i,m just curious to why some ppl hide it !!

could be any number of reasons from not actively looking for a meet that day , working away from home and no internet access or family/health problems.

I hid mine for a while because between work and domestic stuff I just didn't have time to be online, meet anyone or even be an active member of Fab. When things quietened down I "un-hid" it.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

All sorts of reasons.

They might be seeing someone, they might be away working, they might just not have time for it, illness, family commitments whatever... swinging is a small part of most people's lives, not what they live for.

Easy to hide profile then can spend day browsing forums pics etc without coming up on search and receiving numerous unsolicited mail and winks

We were quite active for a while and had 10 or so verifications and decided enough was enough for us. At this point we deleted our profile.

Our interest has come back round again and we wish we had kept it as starting over was a pain.

If it gets too much again we will just hide the profile and if we decide to come back it'll be there.

But I did get just over 1200 in the first day, Funny thing is..alot of the messages were abusive, because I had not replied quick enough!
