so many places get mentioned in traffic reports that i have no idea where they are. "plantation", oftem hear bout it....nae idea where it is?

anyone else in same boat at times?

just thought this may be the place to get directions....clue up one another

Good old Auchenshuggle does exist, it's out the east side of Glasgow, way out London Road way.

Going back to plantation.

I drive through it every night.

It amazes me how big it is.

Last time i got stuck there I counted 16 lanes from edge to edge at it's widest!

Between Govan & Tradeston. Like mentioned earlier, at the junction with the M77. No idea why it's called Plantation though

Between Govan & Tradeston. Like mentioned earlier, at the junction with the M77. No idea why it's called Plantation though"

Something to do with old Glasgow and storage for goods imported from plantations I think.

Depends when you're going; Gt.Western is the direct route but westbound can be solid during the day. The Clyde Tunnel can be a real bottleneck if there are roadworks, as at present.

So maybe Expressway, up to Anniesland Cross, then along Gt.Western.

Pays yer money, takes yer chance! lol

Potters bar is J25, M11 is J27 and its J3 for brands hatch - but the proper J3 - don't go onto the M20!! Lmao. Too easy mate
