I'm not on my high horse I've just said that having a preference isn't Ageist there is no inaccuracies, not being attracted to someone who at 72 is ages with my my father isn't being Ageist it preference .

In what way was her considered and honest reply inaccurate? If it hurt its probably because it actually made sense but your not ready to accept that.
