Which do you think is best for gauging somebody's personality, chatting to them in the Scottish Chat Room or watching how they respond on the Forum?

Chat often seems quiet or almost empty and not always Scottish based people in the Scottish chatroom. But I am new here and may be looking in the wrong chat section?

BOTH ......you can learn a lot by watching how folk chat ...not only to you but to others to ( it doesn't take rocket science to work out what some want to hear) .....also responses in the forums can often give away things folk try to hide when in chat.

analysis is paralysis...whats written online is a vague guide to what any person is like..often.

I'd say the forums, you get to see what folk choose to reply to and their answers can intrigue me sometimes. In chat its all too fast to really pay attention to much.

I like both though

Both for me.. some folks only use one or the other, and some behave differently in both which is always interesting to see.
