Do you think FAB should have an option to post anonymously on here?

Maybe you want to confess something that’s embarrassing to admit?

Maybe you want to ask something that’s probably a bit personal and would like to stay anonymous?

No because it would get abused no doubt.

If people used the search function it’s probably already been asked.

So no, just ask or be brave and Google it.

This is the answer I expected cos I thought it myself. There would maybe be a way that admin can see who posts, just so you’re not on here slagging someone off anonymously just cos they’re ignoring your inbox messages lol

This already happens. It's the main innocent reason for people with multiple profiles. The reality is that they get used for abuse without consequences and to get around blocks.

I would rather we had a safer community with more checks & less anonymity. That way people could be more vulnerable, open, and feel safer.

Should have the courage of your convictions to say what you want. If you wish to hide whilst saying something, I would suggest it is probably best to not say it in the first place.

So what if you get blocked by people.

Absolutely not, it has ruined groups on farceybook people don’t take accountability for their posts and are cowards that use it.

I like the idea; for questions people may feel uncomfortable asking, in an ideal world, it’d be good. Especially on sites where they may not want to in front of their community peers.

But it’d suffer abuse, moderation would probably be required to approve topics and subsequently monitor them. Always someone ruins things for others.

If it was set up as anonymous forum where all posters were anonymous it might be interesting to see what develops . I suspect however it would not play out well

Fake profiles have been doing so for some time.

Virtually no one here uses their real name and few people have face pics on their profiles, so what's the point?

"Virtually no one here uses their real name and few people have face pics on their profiles, so what's the point?"

This. And each individual chooses whether they want to or don’t want to display their face. So there is as much anonymity as you require.

Totally agree.

Get around blocks,

Well, we know who’s doing that.
