If you are looking for an instructor for fly fishing then try some of the local fisheries. They tend to know people who can teach. That's what I did when my kids wanted to try it. Wasn't expensive either and he supplied starter rods for their lessons too

I just found a large area of grass and perfected my casting as a youngster.

Its all in the wrist action, being a wanker has its benefits

Once it gets to around May then maybe we could set up a day away with the rods.

Do you have any fly fishing gear?

On this site I think i have a better chance of getting a fish than getting laid!!

your best bet is to look up a cpl nearby trout fisheries give them a call they will give u a few pointers and will also supply rods/reels/lines if you dont already have your own gear....fly fishing is the only true way to fish for trout, ive been fly fishing for over 30yrs

I'm up for a day out with the rods. Not sure what is the best fishery to try.

Also got sea tackle so a day away at the seaside is also a good idea.
