People have preferences and your just not within those preferences .

You yourself have set age range filters in place so if you think age is just a number why have set age ranges !?

It’s no big deal, it’s just everyone’s preference, I’m outside the majority of their age range but I still have a brilliant time on here, socialising, swinging, sex, great chat and laughs.

I just deal with it and get on with it and if someone who has me outside their age range are lucky enough to meet me then I see it as a treat for them

If it is your age so what? I know I am not past it....but I also know that people may not want to meet someone my age.... we all have preferences and choices. Are you assuming all women over 70 are past it ? That is your upper age limit on your profile so surely it works both ways ?

You realise the amount of mails a woman can get . Having preferences is part of life and having those preferences on their profile should help with filtering through the mails that's sent . If your ignoring what's on their profile then as bad as it sounds it's your fault you put yourself in the position of being deleted unread . . The amount of threads there has been about no replies is ridiculous but somehow there always tends to be a new one pops up . A no reply is a no thanks. Preferences are set for a reason.. if you read the profile.and too heed of them then could minimise the rejection your facing !

Yes but theirs ones where u fit what they want and don't reply or read it. I must be getting better at messaging had a few reply thanks but no thanks recently

I get that but just because you meet the preferences doesn't mean your gonna be a match ,attraction comes into play and if someone isn't attracted to you then preferences or not it's no gonna happen .

My point is age is probably the most specific prefrence and if the OP is mailing profiles with specific age preferences that he's setting himself up for rejection .if that is the case then he's done it to himself .far too many folk take no regard to what's actual written in a profile and then wonder why they get no reply .

We delete messages if someone doesn't have public photos. A lot of couples and single women get a lot of messages a day. We sometimes delete when a profile pic is a cock. It could be lots of reasons they delete your message without reading it.

Unfortunately age is a factor. For example you are older than my Dad that's a hard limit for me. Would you meet a 95 year old? I'm also not attracted to men 20+ years younger and has nothing to do if a person is past it or not and everything to do with what turns me on. It's just life! Keeping expectations realistic is a huge issue on here sometimes. We are a couple with a age gap so reaching out on fab can be difficult and we can relate in a small way to what you are saying, as others have said going to socials and clubs really breaks down barriers but you definitely still have to keep expectations realistic xx Mrs

- receive message

- check profile

- if nothing on the profile interests me, message deleted

No one is obliged to read or respond to a message.

It sounds like you’re self conscious about your age rather than it being a reason.

I don’t send a lot of messages. If they’re read then deleted, it could be a number of things - for all I know I’m too handsome in their eyes.

It isn’t because of modesty anyway

Guys are outnumbered 20-1 or something on here, the fact is women and couples’ inboxes are deluged with messages. More often than not they can’t even read them all.

Everyone has their tastes and you just don’t happen to be theirs. I’ve talked to women on here, got on great, but no spark. That’s just life. No hard feelings, move on and get on with things.
