Happens to everyone and I've done it. It often means they know you in real life.

Equally if it is that they aren't attracted then that's good to know so you can move on and find that chemistry with someone else. Sadly just saying no or that you aren't interested often goes badly on here.

I didn't know them so it must have been the latter which is fine but I would be polite about not being attracted to someone instead of being rude..... manners don't cost anything hahaha

I completely understand that, but for those of us who aren't aggressive or react badly, a simple sorry I'm not interested makes it easier to swallow when you've been chatting for a bit. I do get that some ruin chances of the niceties though.

Just the way of fab and online dating.

They don’t want to waste either of your time if there’s no attraction.

Even catfish is becoming more of a problem.

Just a risk you have to take in this game

So many rude people on here at the moment I'm afraid. A quick message takes no time to write and sadly we are not attracted to everyone.

Don’t linger on it as it will just annoy you more. I’m sure you will start chatting away to someone else and soon forget about it.

Anyone else had this happen to them?"

Serious question, I'm curious: would it have been better for your ego if they'd written back "nah, don't fancy you, thanks anyway".

Personally I think I'd be happier just writing them off as rude, but that could just be my delicate sensibilities!

As a couple on here, we've had quite a few men that can't accept rejection. You can't predict what someone is going to be like when they have rejection so it's easier not to reply. We get hundreds of messages a day and to be honest, most are one or to words, wanna fuck, hi, your hot and other similar stuff. On the Internet you need to have thick skin. It's not rude not replying to someone it's about learning to accept rejection.

Honestly, why is this a dent to your confidence? Don't let this happen as your the one who might have dodged a bullet.

There are so many reason why the person has blocked:

They maybe hiding something, they may know you and kept chatting then stopped.

They maybe married and felt they were going to get caught and stopped.

They might just wanted to get to a stage of getting on with someone and felt it was going to fast and then blocked.

You sent a face pic and she then thought you wanted a face pic back and wasn't ready so just blocked.

She might have looked and thought, feck, he's way too hot for me and then blocked

There are so many reasons why this happens and its no fault of yours so its just not best to have it on your mind, just move on, she has.

All the best and enjoy yourself

Sadly it’s not about manners sometimes it’s for an easy life … I wouldn’t block a person I would simply stop the chat … you say you wouldn’t give hassle but I’ve chatted to men who have turned nasty n showed their true colours when I have said no thank you, us females do get a lot of it on here … I said no to a couple just because they smoked I don’t meet smokers it’s just my preference. They said they don’t smoke they vape and no smoking during the meet .. I said to me vaping is smoking and it’s just not for me I was apologetic and the messages kept coming back, they were not accepting no even though I have it on my profile I was politely saying no and explaining why and it got nasty they took it personal … so even when you respectfully say no to ppl that’s sometimes not enough . So I stopped the chat. My advice is not to take it personal accept that it’s probably them saying your not for them and move on … maybe you didn’t know this person that blocked you but maybe they knew of you or recognised you … don’t think too much into it… Happy Fabbing

This needs to be quoted.

If you don't get a reply, just try to move on. If you don't get a reply and get fixated on that, it could lead to you acting differently with other people going forward.

Welcome to FAB.

It's the natural course.

Stage one message read or no read

Stage two message returned Strike up conversation.

Stage three exchange of Face pics.

Either continue or dropped.

If your lucky enough to continue, you just have to jump through the other forty hoops to get to a physical social.
