Anyone been to any of the daytime discos for over 30s in Glasgow? I see a couple of venues are doing them, think they are on from like 3pm til 8.

Every club on Glasgow seem to have started doing on overs night after they saw hip replacement being popular

Not just in Glasgow either, this seems to be becoming a new wave of entertainment zeitgeist across the country perhaps at least in part to do with cost of living as means people can get cheap public transport home after. Means also they aren’t out late before working/dealing with kids or other caring responsibilities the next day.

It’s a brilliant idea… I see a number of pubs are putting on live music as daytime entertainment also… all we need now is a sexy seniors afternoon event and life will be good ….. just sayin!!!

20 years on, I’d probably still get a knockback from the Garage

It’s a great idea. Clubs are sitting unused, taxis and public transport is difficult after pub closes, it’d suit me.
