Hey fellow fabbers.

So myself and my partner put out a meet a couple times and not one lady or couple got back to us.

The reason for this post is a cry for help. What is wrong with our profile....???

Profile looks okay, you’ve got verifications, photos etc. Maybe the fact you are smokers puts people off? If you messaged our couples profile that’s the only reason we’d use to not meet however there are plenty on Fab that do meet smokers. Maybe the day/location didn’t suit? A good hint when putting up a meet is to also update your status to say you’re looking for a meet and sometimes pop a new photo up as that seems to generate hits on your profile.

nothing wrong with profile

Finding a single female is hard (well so i’m told) hence unicorn status

But making couples meet works can be difficult, 4 people who have to like 4 other people, 2 diff couples schedules, location often couples can’t accom due to families etc

you’d be better attending a club night much easier in person x

On the whole I don't see anything wrong with it. There is a contradiction where you are posting an immediate meet (if I've understood your opening post) and your profile says "looking for a connection first". There's nothing wrong with chatting and building a connection first but that may confuse a few lusty women/couples who are keen and eager to meet sooner rather than later.

Also, I strongly suggest that you get rid of that ubiquitous legal disclaimer at the bottom of your profile. You come across as gullible. (Sorry).

Sometimes it just comes down to timing and whether events are on etc. In terms of profile, I would recommend you get rid of legal disclaimer and also the words 'drama free'. It's quite a well known flag.

I’d say your location is the biggest drawback. Having been to Dalkeith last year it is out of the way for many people. Maybe if you were able to meet in Edinburgh it would help.

Need to remember single women, especially unicorns (single women that play with couples) have their pick of the bunch so you have to be very attractive or in shape to stand out. Particularly the male. Your profile only shows one photo of the male and that's just his hair. If you put up photos showing full length body picks it will help with couples but unlike to help with single females. Most people think if there's no male photos on the profile it's because he's ugly and/or overweight. Women can get away with that on here. Men can't. It is what it is.

We think it’s just incredibly difficult to meet couples or single women on Fab. One thing can just rule you out of a lot of meets. For you it could be the fact you’re smokers but for us it could be both being straight. It will be different reasons for different people.
