Following on from another thread. Scotland has a population of 4.35m (excluding under 18)

So how big do you think the fab membership is

Couples

Males

Females

Tv/TS

I would say more guys less tv/ts, it would be good to get an actual true figure.

Think it’s really difficult to tell and depends whether we are talking about people who have thought about it or people who have actively played in the last 6/12 months.

Fab shows 300+ couple within 5 miles of Glasgow. If that’s the case then maybe scale that by say 6. Roughly assuming Scotland is 6 times population of central(ish) Glasgow. That might mean 2000+ couples but in reality how many are active.

At the active end of the spectrum how many couples go to the clubs in Scotland. Having been to on AD we’d say possibly 200 different couples per month go to each club which might be crazy wrong. We realise there will be other people playing regular on Fab.

We reckon it’s very small in terms of numbers especially couples and perhaps women

*'Straight Males Looking for Women' who spend an inordinate about of time hitting on other guys (not that I'm complaining...)

Really couldn’t hazard a guess at numbers but think “real swingers” and fab numbers are probably different things. In swinging terms think there’s probably a lot of couples. In fab terms there’s a huge amount of single males. At least that’s my thoughts (wee shrugs emoji)

It was more a musing brought on by another thread where a couple said they were finding it difficult to get meets from a population of 6m.

Don't know if they genuinely thought the whole population of Scotland was on fab.

So that got my statistic brain working and wondered how the numbers stacked up. And what folk thought the split would be between categories

Maybe they did, and I think when fab first started it probably was mainly swingers. I know it was more like that when I joined in 2010 ish. Now singles (especially males) are more dominant and it’s used as much as a hook up site. Not saying that’s bad it’s just the effect of the internet x

Probably work it backwards from numbers at clubs to an extent, not everyone can go every week, some maybe just for the midweek things, some for the events and socials and I suppose that in certain parts of Scotland, it’s planning a weekend or overnight trip.

Numbers on fab I’m not sure about as certain amount are here to look I guess, but I don’t know enough on how many meets happen direct from just messaging

There are more people on the site now compared to back then. I think about 75% use it for socialising

I think more people back then had more sexual interaction,possibly 60% and 40% socialising.

Difficult...it shouldn't be.
