Going to be in Glasgow for work next month and looking for suggestions of places to stay. Anywhere with nice bars and restaurants near?

Depending on your budget the West End or City centre is probably the best if your after bars and restaurants.

It depends what you like. The west end and the city centre are only a 10 minute ride on the subway. Byres Road and Ashton Lane in the West end are good. Merchant City and maybe Suchiehall Street in the city centre. As I said, ot depends what you like.

I live in the east end and I agree best west end it's better but depending where you are working

I will be staying in Glasgow 5th6th of April in the easy hotel where would be best for a night out and the possibility of meeting some company I may be alone on the Friday but have friends coming out on the Saturday
