Musselburgh

Ok how many people have had thier profile looked at several time by the same person. Honestly I have done it, but I mentioned it in my profile that I might do this b4 I send any type of message due to being a bit shy.

I do eventually send a polite hi message

Hi thought I would be polite and say hi, as I have checked out your profile a few times. Male very bi curious 49 here stay in musselburgh. (Probalbly one of the hardest people to get with due to my restraints, anxiety ect) cannot accommodate and only travel short distances (public transport, don't drive). So hope you are enjoying the site and understand completely if you aren't interested in me due to my situation. Just thought I would be polite at least and say hi. Happy fabbing

I do personalise it about our non compatibility points also.

So would you rather they just kept checking your profile and not say anything or would a message like mine be nice to receive?

Your thoughts please.

There are lots of people check my profile out regularly, that doesn’t bother me. Some probably forget they looked and didn’t like others maybe like my pics so keep looking at them, either way is fine with me. I wouldn’t need them to tell me they keep looking.

Your message isn’t clear about whether you’re looking to meet or just checking in to say you look at their profile.

It’s also a bit negative for an introductory message.

If you are just saying hi because you like looking at their profile then you could send a message telling them what you like about their profile and take it from there.

If you keep looking as you would like to meet them, then similar to above mention what you like about their profile and maybe expand a little about how you think you may be comparable with them.

Remember not to send one big paragraph, split it a little so it’s easier to read.

This is obviously just my opinion, others will disagree

Can see why they like you photos

"...So would you rather they just kept checking your profile and not say anything or would a message like mine be nice to receive..."

Personally, it's not something I would do. People look at profiles for all sorts of reasons such as Fab Forum games or challenges or via a forum thread...

I don't encroach into their curiosity.

Given the lack of views I get I can only assume that all you ladies are looking at me in ninja mode

This, there’s loads of reasons why folk look and personally I’m not bothered by those that do look (when I’m not hidden that is ). I think it’s more important to message for a valid reason or if you’re interested and you fit the persons requirements. A message to say I’ve looked at you lots and thought I’d say hi??? I don’t see the point. As CG said though that’s merely my opinion

Take it as a compliment, youl find it’s probably done by accident too. People follow the verification trails aswell so can land on the same person often.

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

The way I see it is our profiles are there to be looked at so that’s okay by me if someone chooses to continually look but not message .

I’ve done it myself many times with profiles,if I like the look of some of their photos ,however if I’m not looking to meet them I definitely wouldn’t send a message .

With regard to the email you use as demonstration I’d definitely pass you by but would politely thank you for your message simply based on the negativity with in it and wish you good luck .

Op why not spend your time messaging people you’d potentially like to meet rather than messaging purely to say you have viewed the profile !?

keep it light and fun rather than pointing out what you see as flaws as to why they wouldn’t want to meet you .

That is just a basic message I ad bits to it also depending on if I match any of what they are looking for or if I don't match.

That is a very good point, I just feel like I have to be polite and say hi at least, maybe I'm just over thinking things but that is how I am.

You have gave me a lot to think about. Like I said at the start I just feel it is polite, but judging by the posts there is no need to be.

We see a few regulars returning to ours, single guys as well as couples, which is actually nice to see. It's good to see a few visits followed by a message. It appears they've considered us before contacting us first.

Screams cut and paste I'd block

plus I don't look at who's fabbd or looked at my pictures so that part would be irrelevant.

I usually look at the same profiles over and over but that’s because my memory is so crap! I personally prefer a message to just looking.

Im not gonna lie I'd definitely find it a tad creepy getting a message like that it's basically hello I like to look at you but can't meet you. It's a bit pointless, it's totally fine to have a gander at the same profiles they are public by choice and you don't need to meet everyone you talk to but can have enjoyable conversations but your example doesn't really invite conversation. If you want to chat to someone then just chat, totally up to them if they reply.

In our case

If someone who viewed your profile

We will then click on them

Have a read and see oh we spoke previously....

Or they weren't interested o remember now

So it's not always in a creepy way

Most people look on ninja mode..I find couples tend to 'open view' for some reason. As NMD said above, message who you like not who has viewed you and keep it light hearted. If you get somewhere and the messages increase and you feel you need to mention the perceived negatives then gently ease them in, in chat.

I'm all for MH but if someone bombarded me with negative waves, I would be outta there.

Good luck.
