Any recommendations for a hotel in the city centre that is meet friendly. Going to a social there in a couple of weeks and hoping to have guests back to the room

Probably one of the Premier inns would be your best bet. There’s one opposite the Playhouse which is good. I’ve had meets in there before

The premier Inn "hub" type hotels have tiny rooms, so are either very cosy or cramped depending on your perspective.

Why not just stay on after the social?

The village Edinburgh is not in the centre but not far on bus/taxi, have rooms with 2 double beds, spa & decent food. Often good deals. Had our first play there.

Wonder if any visitors are at village hotel this weekend and would like a visitor. I live close by and use the Starbucks often.

A previous post on the forum recommended The Central Novotel, as a card isn’t needed to use the lift to access the other floors for the rooms.
