Anyone else suffer from loneliness. Despite having family around me, sometimes I feel desperately lonely.

How does anyone else cope

What hobbies do you have? Are there any groups or clubs with like minded folk you could be attending?

It's ironic that we've never had so many opportunities & ways to connect with people, thanks to technology, yet there are so many lonely folk.

Have a wee laugh & a giggle on here if you get the chance, but don't look at Fab as a solution to your loneliness

To be connected to the family you have created is your responsibility.

I would highly advise yo listen to Arthur Brooks interview on YouTube or read his book "Build the Life You want". This will truly help you.

A Chippy Near You...

Is there an 'Andy's Man Club' near you? Non-judgemental, non-clinical, no need for registration either. Check their website, see what you think - and best wishes

Loneliness can be absolutely horrible, I know, regardless of how many people might be in your life...

I am not alone but am very lonely. I don’t have any friends just people I know. It’s difficult being insular but I’ve come to accept it and adapt as much as I can.

Insularity and/or self-consciousness can be bastard, serious bastard problems - again, know this from personal experience.

However, all the f*cks once given, are now given no more.

Very liberating it is too

great advice with the “Andy’s Man Club” I took my neighbour as he was very down and was surprised at how good they were. Amazing group and well organised.

Nice one - and 100% agree. Truth be told, sometimes men (regardless of who's in their lives), really don't have anyone to really "talk" to

It's definitely something I've been feeling recently.

Eat, work sleep repeat. It's not a nice lifestyle.

Yeah, thought that too. Hopefully see him back if he's feeling in a better spot.
