The Jury’s Inn and the Holiday Inn at Prime 4 in Kingswells have been successful for me. Met with couples in both. Very easy to bypass reception or in Holiday Inn meet at the back of the bar as it’s very discrete.

Park inn and the bonvoy (residence inn) are my two faves.

Sandman, as above, is really good too.

We like to use the village, no need for anyone to go past a reception, just straight into the lifts.

And they do dayroom rates with pool access so you can go down for a sauna, after or in between any fun.

Dependant on Budget its worth renting a flat. We usually book one just off Holburn st ( Bloomfield ) and to our suprise when we booked we had an extra bedroom . Everything u want and have at home , they even leave u stuff for a Conti breakfast all in the price

Look up dayrooms dot com. Or Google village hotel dayuse as it's cheaper booking straight through the hotel.

With sauna/ pool it's about 70£ for the dayuse, without it's around £50.

Village hotels good and easy for parking,

Leonardo at airport is fine as there is a back entrance but walking through the front doors fine too.

Sandman in town is good and easy to walk past reception. There’s also an entrance that means you don’t have to pass reception.

Holiday in Express on Chapel street,

Douglas on Market street

Leonardo at union square. Can take the stairs to get your steps in. Lol

Have to agree. The Sandman suites are great for an extended fun time, the twin doubles perfect for three of you. Never had any issues with reception, spacious and relaxed, easy to breeze past.

The ones people think might arise when meeting in hotels. Hence why they mention easy access to rooms or the need to go past reception etc etc.

Few posts mentioned hotels that had no problems or issues. So I wanted to see if there were any instances where people have had problems with reception or the like!

I once arranged to meet a girl at the Holiday Inn without realising there were two Holiday Inns on the same street. We went to different hotels and spent half an hour texting and phoning each other before we figured it out. That was embarrassing. Does that count as an ‘issue’?

I think folk mean by issues with hotels you need to use either key or key card to get through the door into the actual bit where the rooms are
