Just a post to see if it would be worth the effort in arranging a verification social type of meeting for everyone in the edinburgh area. This would be somewhere where people can have a drink and sells coffee ect also for non drinkers. It would be a no pressure social only to help get people a verification of some sort. Of course if you see/speak to someone you like you can arrange another meet, but this is totally up to you. It is only a thought at the moment and not set in stone.

So come let's hear your thoughts on this please.

I'm sure many will be interested in this as I know over the years it’s been done before .

Just set a date and post it up then wait for people to say they will come along is the best way to go about it .

Yes following a post about a possible pub quiz I tried to organise a team to take part

There weren't many responses wanting to take part and for understandable reasons a few of the responders couldn't make it on the night so it simply didn't happen.

For a proposed verification Social I would be happy to attend and verify others. So even if it's a small gathering we could make it work.

Falcon43 is the lady to talk to. It’s actually Paisley but plenty of parking and not far from train station.

Why don’t you just meet in After Dark on a Wednesday or Friday night, when it’s relatively quiet? Or just attend any Saturday night, get talking to folk & ask for a verification, you might also get a bit more than that.
