If I see a blank profile I won’t engage, if they haven’t put any effort into putting a few words together or any pics then I feel it would resonate in their efforts with a meet

I agree and feel the same and haven't engaged...but increasingly getting frustrated.. because I feel for the folk that's paying subs and are genuine swingers and in my experience majority of blank profiles are just time wasters, pic gatherers, fantasists and have no intentions of meeting and spoiling it for the genuine folk and the sites not the same as it was ..as I say just my thoughts!

I can’t really comment as I don’t have a good profile description myself. Some people take down pictures and profile description because they might want a break. I think more people should actually put a picture of their face and that would save time for both parties. I wouldn’t be interested in someone who looked liked Zelda from the terra hawks. I don’t think there is much integrity on this site.

Other people's profiles are their business. They can say/show as little or as much as they like. All I ask is that people understand that what they do present will obviously determine whether folk want to interact with them or not. Don't spit the dummy about a lack of interest when you have no photos and a one liner.

Generally attracted by the pic in the first place, then actually read the bio and if there are veris too. If there is no photo it would take me to be very bored to click on it. Perhaps the username would swing it. If there is nothing in the bio then I wouldn't engage. I fully get that women can have a bland profile and still get bombarded by messages though.

But you don’t have a face pic on your profile

I have pics in private and I keep my verifications private also. If people want to see them then I’ll happily show them when I’ve built up a trust with them.

For my pics, there’s too many fake profiles on here now for me to feel comfortable having public pics. If someone is interested then they can see pics if they ask and I’m comfortable sharing them.

For veri’s it’s not anyone’s business who I’ve been with. I’m more than happy to display them to show I’m genuine to someone but I constantly see status updates by people stating they wouldn’t go near someone because they’ve been with so and so.

I have pics in private and I keep my verifications private also. If people want to see them then I’ll happily show them when I’ve built up a trust with them.

I did have a profile pic up recently, I also have friends pics of me. I’m just up for chatting and forums, not really looking for meets unless someone manages to change this. To busy outside fab. You’re right about most things you said.

For the folk who choose not to make an effort with their profile,that's up to them. I really don't have a problem with it.

Which means it's up to me if I reply - and I don't. I do ask for a face pic in my profile blurb, so if none is forthcoming, I don't engage. It does sort out the fantasists from genuine.

Each to their own. For us slightly off putting if there is just the blank silhouette for a profile pic and "will fill in later" on their profile - especially if they've not joined recently. Like, even if you don't want to tell your life story, it takes a minute to do a couple of sentences. It's these profiles sometimes you end up leaving and not even messaging purely because there's no indication if they're looking for similar things or not.

A blank profile gives you no insight into the person at all. Why would you want to interact with someone if you know nothing about them?

If I message someone I always put effort into it.

It can however be frustrating when they don't bother to read it or reply with a simple sorry I'm not interested if that is the case.

Blank profiles are the best, but not to be trifled with if you have a weak constitution. They leave an air of mystique, bewilderment and intrigue.

Sometimes they land into my Inbøx. I humour them and then embark upon a journey of peeling back their layers and delving deep beneath their veneer of subterfuge. These are rare gems — and I've met a few who turned out to be utterly delightful behind their initial façade.

You and I and the rest are not on dab to play blankety blank. Some might be genuine, some not so, not on here to second guess.

If they don’t have time to fill out their profile, especially ones that have been going weeks, months etc.. then I don’t have time to be interested until things change on their profile. I do think some won’t rush into things on here so could be reason why blank but that’s everyone’s choice.

But as you say, views on blank profiles so I just don’t bother with them

It's a good filter. Just think if they all asked for profile advice and we have 1000s of generic blurb to read from all the good people who give advice. Much more of a waste of time. If you can't be arsed with effort show that. It saves me time

I think everyone has to start somewhere and find their own level of comfort on here. A blank profile that sends information and photos when contacting you directly says to me they don't want a heavy public presence on here, but wish to have fun like everyone else.

Our experience is, blank profiles are wasting our time. They're here for the chase but when it comes to meeting they won't, excuses or they block us. We've even had blank profiles send us photos taken from the Internet. We're not saying ALL are like that but because it's happened more than we liked we don't respond to blank profiles and have blocked profiles with no public photos.

Blank profiles are funny. Some people, particularly woman do it deliberately to not shine attention to them.

Others are just individuals scared to completely take the plunge, side line on lookers.

Then there are the lazies or the stalkers..

Find it best to avoid all as you never really know what your getting.
