Hillwalking recommendations

I know it’s probably been posted a million times but does anyone have any recommendations of decent hillwalks within an hour or so of Stirling? Also keen to join/have someone join me on those walks, it’s always good getting a bit of craic whilst breathing out your arse

Ochil Hills, not too far from Stirling. This is a superb relaxing walk with a few pathways and superb stunning views.

Official detail is: long range of steeply sided, round topped hills, stretching 25 miles from the Firth of Tay to Stirling.

I've walked parts of it a few times, mainly from the Stirling end and always enjoyable, cannot fault it

Stirling is an amazing bas to go out on the hills ..the Ochils are a lovely breaking in...not too far to higher hills

Definitely check that site out, it's quite comprehensive with reviews too.. I use it when I'm looking for new trails and hills to conquer.

Ben A'an isn't that high but it's a steep wee bugger and Ben Ledi is a tougher walk than a lot of Munros - cracking views from the top though, especially a day like today

You’re all aff yer nut!

I went on a date with a girl in the summer and she said we should walk up a hill. A hill!

Now a hill to me is like, I dunno, a hill! The teletubbies live in a hill.

But no, she gets me to drive to a fucking mountain called Queens View, couldn’t see the top for the clouds. Got up to the top and I was utterly burst expecting to see Zeus and that having their dinner. Then, on the way down, I’m sliding all over the shop nearly dying. She tells me there’s another called the dumpling nearby….i felt like a dumpling that day!

Coffee social anyone? There is usually cake and the security of a seat…
