Haddington

L'escargot bleu for French.

White Horse Oyster and Seafood Bar for oysters and seafood!

The Lookout by Gardeners Cottage for a pricey view.

'spoons on Waverley Bridge for a cheap view.

Depends how much you want to impress.

Guess it depends what kind of cuisine they prefer (and whether there are any dietary requirements to account for). Do they have a favourite place?

Try Noto or Tipo they are exciting places to eat and not too dear.

Please don't book multiple places and not turn up to them. Hospitality is struggling at the moment, without having to buy in food and pay staff - just for people not to turn up! Those tables could also be given to other paying guests to help cover running costs! Please take that into consideration.

The Sheep’s Heid is good too. Oldest pub in Edinburgh, yes it’s a pub but it’s great food
