Angus Social Meet? Y/N/M?

angus

When we signed up to Fab a year ago we were surprised how many profiles there were in Angus and since then there's been a steady influx of others.

Just wondered if there might be enough of us interested to organise a regular Angus Social?

Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on location, frequency etc.

Perhaps Forfar bi weekly?

"great idea, Forfar once a week, maybe evenings?"

The only thing about every week in Forfar is that might exclude people from other areas of Angus.

"great idea, Forfar once a week, maybe evenings?

maybe in another place, we need to attract as many interested people as possible and make it more convenient for everyone

Can switch it up! Different places, doesn’t need to be stagnant

Weekly in one place might be a bit much, but maybe Rotating between maybe Carnoustie, Arbroath, Forfar and either Brechin or Montrose? Actually think i see Carnoustie mentioned least though

I’d certainly be interested in social meets in the Angus area

Sounds good! Although Forfar is a bugger to get to for me but rotating the location every couple of weeks would solve that.

Yes, I haven’t reached the age threshold yet. I believe that age is just a number if a person is good for you

Weekly socials might be difficult to maintain regular. Monthlies might be more realistic.

Over the next day or two i will do some digging and finding a suitable day and venue then start looking at dates.

Being so close to Dundee it will be better if we organise around the Dundee Social gatherings, so dates don't clash.

Interested in this, just a thought but would somewhere in Dundee work for those who aren’t so keen on socialising on their doorstep so to speak?

There already is a Dundee Social Scene, this would fit around that so people would have the option to go to both if they want.

A lot of people don't like socialising on their doorstep as this part of life is meant to be 100% discreet

Aye, that's true, an Angus Social would give people in Dundee and Aberdeenshire, that don't want to socialise on their doorstep, a relatively nearby place to meet, as well as those from Angus who are comfortable with it.
