My gf and I are staying in Edinburgh for a couple of nights (26th&27th) and we’re looking for some suggestions of good bars to try. We’d love to find a nice woman for us to play with so any good spots to find them?

Wouldn't head to the dome, always super busy and queues to get in. I'd suggest a new speakeasy venue just opened a few weeks ago, lovely little dimly lit alcoves on it called Encore, just across from the Angel Share

Panda and sons it’s classed as a secret bar, very quirky and great cocktails

Elios - on George street is great for live music and a good atmosphere

Never really here - on Rose street is another great cocktail haunt

Agree with others - rose street has a great selection of bars and there are nice fancy ones up in the st james quarter also.

Depends where you stay and where you want to go? The royal mile can be fun and quirky if you are a tourist

Why not try the bar at the top of the new w hotel, probably pricey but where isn’t these days
