best club for a "newbie" couple(mf)?

i know this is probs a terrble thread but hey ho, im planning on a weekend either in glasgow or edin with a partner (his first time) and wandered where would be best to take him? whats everyones first time experiences been like? any advice? other than tip his toes in gently lol

Yeah I would agree with that one but would maybe recommend a quieter event like fun for all nights,not as busy making it less daunting.

Def Cj's for me too...really chilled, nice folk and Caroline and Michelle that run it are just fabby

The fact you mention it's (his first time) suggests it's not (your first time).

Why not take hime somewhere you've enjoyed before?

I've never plucked up the courage to go to a full-on party, but have heard great things about CJs.

As a single guy, wouldn't i kinna stick out like a sore thumb??

Would recommend CJs as it's much friendlier than After8 and this is down to the hostesses. After 8 is more for couples, most of whom already know each other. Singles males will have a better time at CJs because numbers are limited, whereas After 8 will let in anyone who pays the fees. Just my opinion

We want to go to a club too but not in aberdeen as may know ppl their so may have to venture down to Cjs see what all the hype is about, so Cjs do let in single blokes? Cuz we only play with guys not couples as I don't share mr lol

id recommend cjs for first timers never any grief if you dont want to play but just get to know folks an see what its all about an just go an enjoy yersel xxx
