Wondered if any couples have been recently. We haven’t been in a while but considering going again. But last time I think I was one of 5 females there out 100 odd men. We’re not shy but it’s nice to have more of a mix at these things, just our personal preference. Anyone who’s been recently have any feedback? Would especially like to hear from any couples considering going any time soon….

I've been. It's great.

Not sure what the gender balance has to do with it though as it is completely not a sexual event. I feel completely comfortable naked Infront of the women, when usually I'd find it hesitant, because there is no sexual vibe at all around imo.

We go to this swim and can confirm, they are welcoming and strict on the non sexual rule.

If you are body conscious naturism is the best way to shed any hang ups.

But it's a nudist event. I'd understand being uncomfortable at in an ASDA carpark but it's a mixed gender nudist meet up so if you are not comfortable naked then maybe it's not the right event for them.

Out of about the 70 people that go there's usually about 20 to 30 are women of all ages. Was there once when there was a low turnout from both sides so was about half that. Totally non intimidating, friendly atmosphere.

Hi Secret Girl, there are a lot more women going these days, and the nice thing is that it's a totally safe environment. Nothing sexual will be tolerated there. It's a very chilled out way to spend your Sunday evening. People are friendly and you will see all shapes and sizes there and nobody is in the slightest bit judgmental. I would highly recommend it! I've been in the past with ex partners. Both were a bit anxious at first bet then relaxed when the clothes came off, pardon the pun.

I especially love the Russian room.

Would like a visit as it's been about 4 years since last one. Can you still just sign in at the door..?

Thank you to everyone for their replies to our question. We know it’s a naturist activity and nothing else and we 100% respect that and enjoy naturism for what it is. It’s just a personal preference we both have that there is an equal mix of men and women, this goes for all our socialising, and we mean no harm or offence and would never want to force our preferences on anyone. Sounds like there is a more even mix now than there was when we went before, so will give it another try soon, if any other couples have specific dates they are going get in touch and we can hopefully say hello. Again, just our personal preference…. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and maybe anyone who goes along tomorrow could give us a review of how it was…. Much Love To All.

Glad we were able to help, and yeah as it is a social event I guess for you it would be nice to meet other couples. Tbh the majority of women I see going are part of a couple so I think you should definitely try it.

Would be fun to meet other Fabers on a social front so as OP said, give a shout if you are going or have been. I could even leave a social verification if we did chat!

I went to the swim last night, and it was very well attended after the Christmas break. There must have been at least 15 females there too, so the female to male ratio is definitely getting better.

We both attend the swim regularly and it’s a total relaxed environment, everyone there we have spoke with have been very nice, and plenty staff/volunteers around so if not feeling comfortable with anything just talk to one of them and be sure to help. This is for nudist keep that in mind but there is a swingers that do attend. Give us a message if you attend the swim regularly x

It’s a naturist swim, no one is there to ogle at you. You are given a sheet and a towel to wrap around you as you walk between the areas. It never even occurred to me that there were so few women the last time I went. It was really relaxed and I enjoyed it.

I’ll go back in February or March probably.

When people with a common interest meet it leads to social interaction. I couldn't imagine a similar level of friendliness and mixing of people from all walks of life taking place at a regular swim venue. When everyone is naked, everyone is equal.

You could also say that if everyone wore a blue swimsuit they'd be equal. Why does a group have to be naked to be friendly? I'm not being obtuse, just trying to understand why the lack of a small piece of material makes it more friendly.

Ive not been to the sessions, so I can't talk about this one, but there is something powerful about accepting yourself as you are with no dressing up. It's freedom from the confines of clothing and more.
