I think any age and any shape should be able to dance or shake their booty any way they want too. Lisa Reilly on Strictly showed bigger ladies can dance well and look sexy while doing it. Vanessas dance was awful though, the moves and constume did'nt do her any favours!

I didn't see Vanessa on Comic Relief but was surprised at Lisa Reilly on Strictly & she was my guilty pleasure. Anyone can get up & shake their booty irrespective of age, size or creed. If you're rubbish, who cares as long as you enjoy yourself. I might be 50 but I'm gonna keep dancing & raving till they burn the corpse & even then I'm going out to a disco number with 132 bpm's !

What she did took a lot of courage, and i think thats what should be focussed on here instead of using it as another excuse to pick on "fat burds".

So maybe a subject for another thread, but what would the assorted "mr perfects" that commented negatively regarding the term "curvy" consider acceptable as curvy? Bearing in mind that the average size for a woman in the uk these days is a size 16?

I have held off on posting on this thread, last night if i had posted i would have got banned lol

The amount of posts recently slating larger ladies has been ridicules and always the same people posting .

When was the last time you ever saw a post in the Scotland forums slating bigger guys ? I know I've not seen one

Maybe just maybe that's because us women do not feel the need to make people feel crap out themselfs in the same way men seem to do and a few women too .

As has been said before this was done for COMIC relief you know that thing that happens once a year to raise cash for charity so maybe just maybe Vanessa knew exactly how she was going to look and done it for the COMICAL side of things .

I've never really taken to V.F. but 10/10 to her for not taking herself too seriously and doing her bit for Red Nose Day. OK she gets a bit of publicity and coverage out of it but fair play to her for making an effort and trying to make a difference.

I owe you ladies a big apology for a comment based on a dis_orted memory of a Venessa Feltz who I remembered as being an extremely large woman,

Having googled her, my memory and judgement were well off,however doesn't excuse a smart arsed comment which had no thought or consideration in regards to any that my take offence.

Having watched her on Comic Relief now,I would say she is a curvy woman,and she's rightly proud to flaunt her curves.

Whatever way you look at it I made a very snide comment which was based on not liking the woman,but wrongly made an insensitive judgement on size.

So for any offence taken by those who took offence to my comment I am genuinely sorry.
