"Back in the 80's Paisley was the epicentre of nightlife in Scotland.....with buses coming from all over even as far away as Brechin!!!!! There was 4, maybe 5 "dancing's" Paris, Toledo Junction, Backchat, Talk of the Town, Shuttle's and Chaplin's. Place was jumping......funny how things have changed.....but the good pubs remain. Wee Howf, Tannahills, Craig d'hu. All good boozers. " Was that b4 they introduced the 11pm curfew in the pubs and clubs to try and curtail the amount of stabbings?

"Carnegies was the place to go before hitting the clubs. What was the name of the nightclub that was on Seedhill Road across from East End Park. There was a snooker hall and a gym in it as well if I can remember rightly. Nowadays for me it's Gabriel's. The ??place is always mobbed every weekend. " That was talk of the town or cue ball or sumit like that remember going as a kid with ma mum dad
