You could probably get away with putting tree up end of October.

Non traditional Xmas in my house, don't have traditional decorations either or traditional food, it's not really Xmas at this point. It's just time off well spent with family and friends.

I'm putting our tree up within the next few days. I'm taking it down on December 27th as we are going away for new year. Don't wanna come back mid January to all the decorations. So its justified

Ours is up on the 25th due to shift patterns and we. Traditionally have the decorations up before the first advent (pmsl... and we are not Christian. Just an old tradition)

There is so much hardship and war and poverty and just general shite going on in the world right now, if putting up a tree and switching on some twinkly lights helps make someone smile or alleviate some stress or brighten an otherwise dull existence.... then hell no! Not too early! Put up the tree!!! Live your best life. Xxxx

How about putting the Christmas tree up but throwing a white sheet over it. Now it's a ghost for Halloween. Whip the sheet off November 1st.

Technically, if one sees chocolate santas on the shelves in a supermarket in the last week of August, then why not stick the tree up? Although may be worth leaving the fairy lights off Tim nearer the time and save on electricity bill 😉
