Anyone got tips on spanking? I’ve met someone a few times and she wants me to spank her. I’ve got a paddle but the only time I’ve used a paddle was when I went canoeing with the scouts back in the 90’s.

You can find online tutorials and workshops on impact play. It would definitely be worth looking up in relation to anatomy and potential nerve damage.

I'd stick to bare handed spanking if you don't have any experience with implements, less likely to do unwanted damage (but still has risks).

Negotiate clearly in advance, have safewords and pause to check in regular.

Stick to the fleshy parts and warm the area up with stimulation or light spanks before going harder. Try to distribute evenly (unless your partner has a different preference) and AVOID the base of the spine at all costs.

Lastly, make sure to look after yourself, it can be quite hard work and you don't want to end up injured either.

I’ve never understood the pleasure of spanking but then again some probably don’t understand why a good hard ass slap does it for me lol

Plenty of communication and finding out what she likes. As your new to it I would say explore using softer tools aswell till you get used to them if your playmate is willing helps you understand impact and what does what so to speak.
