meet up with someone that’s verified for a social/ coffee or something then ask them to verify you.

That can be hard to get meets. Clubs are also good as you can meet lots of people in one go and some are usually happy to verify you.

Don't think they can. I'm sure you can only be verified from someone already verified.

Get to a social event, easiest way to be verified and to show others that you aren’t a weirdo

Defo easier to get someone to meet you for a quick coffee and verify you than trying to get a play veri

Don't always just look for females, cpls to get a veri from mind somd guys are happy to meet for a coffee or pint and can happily veri you and mind u don't need to show the veri as loads off people hide there one's on here but doesn't mean there not gen .

Seems a lot of guys don’t understand that a social is just that , a social , funny some guy coming to the Aberdeen one i a couple weeks had it in his head and he’s adamant it’s a play night when it’s just a social lol maybe a dictionary would be handy for some and they may learn that you can actually just meet a man/woman for a chat and a drink and get to know the person and not expect to get lucky after or during

I agree , it’s not easy for us guys on here as it is and especially at the beginning without verifications but can be a chore getting one to begin with when you have none , and women get so many messages that they just skim past so many of them and not an easy way to get a coffee meet as they’re spoilt for choice on here.

Mind you saying that I’ve a few verifications now and 3 of them from playing as well as the social ones and I still can’t get a reply , and I’m respectful and never pushy or vulgar , but like I said there so much choice we may as well be invisible at times.

But then you could get the scenario where they open two accounts and verify themselves. Having a verified person verify someone for the first time helps to ensure some reassurance that they are real.

So we’ve been verified. I can now open a single profile and verify myself from a couple. It’s not fool proof.

lol I'm defo not a weirdo or anything like that,this is the first time iv ever done anything like this so totally new to it all! clubs and stuff iv never considered, I get why it's there for people to be safe I 100 percent agree with that, people looking for a bit of discreet fun shouldn't be worried about meeting some lunatic!or feel unsafe, just seems to be getting that initial one, very hard to get when no one will meet to verify u coz ur not verified lol! oh well just need to keep my eyes open maybe one day I'll actually get what I'm wishing for lol thanks folks!

Make an effort to go to an Organised social. There’s an Edinburgh Christmas social and Glasgow has weekly coffee or pub quiz socials. Dundee and Aberdeen also have socials Falkirk isn’t that difficult to get to most cities so find one that works for you. The advantage of an organised social is networking and getting many verifications from one night out

I have been on Fab for a few months only had one social. I honestly thought it would be so easy to meet people over the net but it’s anything but. I would like to go to social events but I am always working away. If it helps I’m up for going for a beer coffee if it helps you, I should get back onshore next Friday. I’m only interested in woman just saying. Good luck if not interested.

I have already been in contact with the people who organise social meets worth dropping them a message to get dates. Single guys need to get vetted.
