what things did you do as a child that you miss doing and wish you could still do now?

mines would be

1.Going to the swings with friends and swinging so high then seeing who could jump of the highest lol

2.Was always a fight between me and my brother to see who got the toy in the cereal box lol

3.Painting and rolling eggs on easter sunday .

Pmsl i remember when conductors were on the buses and they used to take half the fare and not give you the ticket then pocket the money lol

Getting my 1st job paying my £25 dig money to my parents and being Able to keep the rest for myself to buy clothes and going to the pub!!!

Those were the days lol.

god yes summers were summers back then and you went out to play all day from 9am till 10pm sometimes 10:30 .

I remeber my parents and all the other parents even joining in with us kids at rounders lol

Fruit salads!!!! Yum!!!! Still love them now lol. We used to have a big paddling pool in the back garden and EVERONE ended up in it - kids and adults alike lol

Going to the park on a roasting hot summers day with a bottle of diluting juice and jam sandwiches ..spent all day there with friends before heading home at dinner time ahhhh the memories

I miss my innocence lol. I was wondering how on earth girls never get pregnant but very quick they do when they get married !

lol Poor mum she she had to cope with my endless embarassing questions

Even as a child I had that strangely strong atteaction to the other sex

. My favourite punishement at school was to be taken to sit on a girl's seat lol I spend the rest of the session feeling the feminine chair haha. Dirty mind even as an innocent child

Quite intangible really but that feeling of excitement you get as a kid when doing something new. Nothing feels new as an adult, just variations on stuff you've done before.

All the family going to visit my Gran on a Saturday, now we all never get together.

Going out to play on the swing, made from a rope tied to a tree, swinging over the burn.

Helping my Gran peel the potatoes for Sunday dinner.

So many things were great when we were little, how times have changed when we see kids now

I miss my gran and grandads farm in somerset. Being able to roam the farm and drive tractors without health and bloody safety. I miss my great grans farm too. Used to help my grandad milk wih machines and my great grandad milk by hand. The sweet smell of silage always takes me back to being a kid
