Very rarely look at mine to be honest .... But occasionally if I do and someone catches my eye I will wink back

Only if their profile looks ok would we wink back...

If not then we just reply a thanks but no thanks

I have only received one response from a wink didn't want to send long messages not to get a reply. Guess I will need to change my approach then

Agree. Winks can be a quick way to show someone you like their cam, profile, gallery when you are otherwise occupied.

I tend to look at an unsolicited wink from someone as I've caught their attention. They may have been busy when they sent it & it's an indication to fully read their profile. At that point I decide if I wish to respond (by reply wink or mail), or ignore or block. So it very much depends if I think we have something in common.

It could be that the person is shy & maybe can't articulate their interest in me.

I think there a great way to break the ice, I'll check them and if I like what I see on the profile I'll either mail them or return a wink!!! Works for me...

I like winks, it is a good way to express interest without being too forward, especially when the profile viewed does not have a looking for a meet posted.

I always acknowledge a wink, it is good to have got someone's interst. A great way to start a conversation.

winks work just the same as a real wink,if you were standing at a bar and someone winked you youd know they were intrested .
